WHAT IS

INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL FORENSICS CHALLENGE

2nd International Digital Forensics Challenge (IDFC) 2025 is a team-based competition aiming to enhance digital forensics skills. It is organised by School of Computing and Data Science at The University of Hong Kong in collaboration with Dataport Technology Limited and co-organized with Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of Hong Kong Police Force and INTERPOL. The event aims to promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation among global law enforcement agencies.

Practical Scenario Simulation
Simulates real-world cybercrime scenarios through challenges like data recovery and malware analysis, enhancing practical investigation skills.
Competition-Centric Framework
Features data recovery and cyber forensics challenges with team-based scoring, simulating real-world cybercrime investigation scenarios.
Enforce Innovate Connect
The summit aims to foster cross-border collaboration, accelerate knowledge exchange, and drive technological innovation across law enforcement communities worldwide.
